Community rules
Last updated 2026-10-30. Sapo is for everybody. These rules keep it fun and fair. They are part of our Terms.
Names and handles
Your nickname, handles, clan name and clan chat link are seen by other players. They must not:
- insult, threaten or bully anybody;
- attack anybody for their tribe, religion, gender, disability, looks or where they come from;
- be sexual, or point to sexual content;
- pretend to be another person, a brand, or Sapo itself;
- share somebody's private details, such as a phone number or address (yours included);
- advertise, sell or point to betting, scams or anything illegal.
Please do not use your full real name as a nickname.
Padis and clans
- Only add padis you know. Do not spam padi requests or challenges.
- A clan's chat link must lead to a real group chat that follows these rules, and the rules of the app it opens (WhatsApp, X, Discord or similar).
- Clan leaders: you are responsible for your clan's name and chat link.
Play fair
No cheating, bots, scripts, using bugs on purpose, or extra accounts to climb the boards. The full list is in our Terms. Found a bug? Tell us at [email protected].
Report a problem
To report a name, handle, clan, chat link, cheat or anything that feels wrong, write to [email protected] with the nickname, the game or board where you saw it, and a screenshot if you can. We read every report.
A parent or guardian can also write to us to remove a child's data.
What happens next
Depending on how serious it is, we may change or remove the name or link, remove scores, take the player off the boards, turn off padis or clans for them, or close the account. If you think we got it wrong, write to [email protected] within 30 days and a person will look at it again and answer within 14 days.
