Free games, no money

Sapo is free. Coins, boosters and levels are part of the games: they cannot be bought, sold or swapped for real money, and they have no cash value. There is no betting of any kind.

Play fair

Do not tamper with scores, the boards or other players' accounts. Scores that are impossible, or that came from cheating, may be removed without notice, and an account that keeps cheating may be taken off the boards.

Your name and handles

Pick a nickname and handles that are yours to use. No insults, nothing hateful about tribe, religion, gender, disability or anybody's body, nothing sexual, and no pretending to be another person or a brand. We may change or remove a nickname or handle that breaks this. Handles are shown as "not verified" because we do not check them.

Adverts

Sapo shows adverts inside the game world (boards, walls, buses), never as pop-ups. We do not accept betting, alcohol, tobacco, crypto-trading, political or adult adverts. Brands who want to advertise can write to [email protected].

The usual

Sapo is offered as it is. We work to keep it running and your progress safe, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never lose a score. The games are made for fun: places, events and characters are drawn from everyday Naija life, and any likeness to a real business or person is not intended. These terms follow the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We may update them; the date above tells you when.
