How adverts work in Sapo

Adverts sit inside the game world: a board on the pitch, a poster on a wall, the side of a bus, or "Brought to you by" on a daily challenge. There are no pop-ups, no videos that block play, no tracking pixels and no adverts that follow players around. Players of all ages play Sapo, so every advert must be suitable for everybody.

What we do not accept

• betting, gambling, lotteries and "predict and win";
• alcohol, tobacco, vapes and drugs;
• crypto trading, forex, loans with hidden costs, and get-rich-quick offers;
• political or religious campaigns;
• adult, sexual or dating products;
• weapons;
• anything aimed at children, or unsuitable for them;
• anything illegal in Nigeria.

What the brand promises

• You own, or have permission to use, every logo, picture and word you give us, and our showing them breaks nobody's rights.
• Your advert is true, not misleading, and follows Nigerian advertising and consumer protection law, including vetting by ARCON (the Advertising Regulation Council of Nigeria) where it is required. The vetting is yours to get; we show your approved words and logo as they are.
• Your advert does not try to collect players' personal data. A tap on your advert opens your link; once players leave Sapo, your own privacy policy applies to what you collect, and you must have one.
• You will tell us at once if your advert or link must change or stop.

Our part

• We may refuse any advert, ask for changes, or remove an advert at any time if it breaks this policy, the law, or our Community rules, or if players complain with good reason.
• We count how many times your advert was shown and tapped, per day and per spot, and send you the report. The counts hold no player's identity.
• Prices, dates and payment are agreed in writing for each campaign.
